Sam Thomas Associates is headed by Sam Oommen Thomas, who has over 20 years of experience in the Product Managment, Marketing, and Sales functions. This experience has been in the IT vertical - hardware (PCs, servers, & storage) and software (services & products) - and is as varied as taking responsibility for product conceptualization and product launches, managing sales/product teams, heading branch operations, and planning/implementing marketing strategy. He spent close to five years taking care of business development, for software services and products, in the African market (mainly southern Africa and Egypt), between 1995 and 2000. His last assignment was to head the Product Management & Marketing functions for one of the business divisions at Acer India (Pvt) Ltd., where he worked between 2000 and 2006.
